Digging for Meaning

Evening time. Delhi domestic airport. As many people in casual clothes as suit & ties - upcoming long weekender crowd. Travelers were forming a queue at Terminal no. 12. Usually, hawk eyed travelers keep a look out for incoming inconspicuous elbows and the wily side steppers. But it was different this time. Many were sheepishly staring towards someone. But only briefly. They would consciously then reign in their gaze, back into forward nothingness. The curiosity was overwhelming their resolve though. The heads would turn ever so slightly back towards this one person. People desperately were trying to feign indifference. The man in question was a short guy with a slightly largish head. His skin seemed like a battle ground. His hair was colored dirty bronze. Another person with him had just left. He had touched the celebrity's feet before leaving. while walking back home today evening, i walked past a middle aged person. everything was normal about him. not too fat, not thin. slightly greying hair. he was wearing a sky blue shirt and dark blue pant. the sleeve folded once, presumably right after stepping out of office. He was walking sprightly. He was visibly very happy. he had a white handkerchief in his hand, which instinctively often went to cover his mouth. He was censoring his smile. The effervescent smile bubbling out of him, he wished to rein. his happiness sought expression. his sense of normal social conduct didn't allow for such excesses. His whole body was stiffening with happiness, as if in revolt to the censor. his gait's rhythm had broken. the personal human is caged by the social animal.

it was surreal. i was filled with disbelief. like a leaf on a breeze, i was looking here and there, unbelieving the lightness of being. i was 'sitting' on a 'seat' in the local train on the way back from work today! I HAD A SEAT! :D unjostled, un perturbed, the tired body had only the trains sway rocking it to sleep. there was the ungainly scene of a derrière right in front of me, but hey, you can't have it all now, can you? this lone fortune lifted my sodden day to a new high, plastering on my face a unyielding smile. ___________________ this kind of state of bliss makes one do dangerous things. i for one did something today... well, no regrets for what i did, but I will surely be pleasantly (for me) greeted with awestruck faces of ppl tomorrow.yes. i shaved my head. ( i guess, subconciously the reason for me going bald is to see those awestruck faces) god it feels good. the wind forever cool over it. ___________________ bliss. u can find bliss anywhere. on fortuo...
